I hope everyone had an excellent week and is ready to celebrate St. Paddy’s Day this weekend. I have to admit I am a horrible Irish when it comes to St. Paddy’s Day. I don’t drink very much and of the beer I drink, Guinness isn’t one of them, but I do like Jameson. Also I don’t like eggs so kegs and eggs has never had much of an appeal to me. But I will have a shot of Jameson to celebrate!
I was reminded to beware of the Ides of March today and I think that explains why I tried to put my glasses on three times this morning before realizing I slept in my contacts. I don’t usually do that but it’s perfectly ok for me to do so, I just hope that’s not how the rest of the day goes.
I hope you have some excellent weather this weekend and Happy St. Paddy’s Day! Here’s Friday’s Top Ten:
#10: Corgi Cuteness!
#9 Dark Chocolate and Guinness Cookies
These cookies would be the perfect addition to a Guinness draft this weekend!
#8 Oz Nail Polish
I love the Wizard of Oz and I loved Oz the Great and Powerful and I would also love to have this nail polish. I think the colors are great!
#7 Pope Francis I
We now have a new pope for the Catholic church! I realize not everyone is Catholic but it’s not often you get to witness the election of a new pope especially because they don’t usually step down as the last one did. So I enjoyed witnessing history this week.
#6 Rate that Wine pad
I saw this Rate that Wine pad and think it would be a great gift for a wine lover along with a bottle of wine. Mike and I love trying wines but sometimes when we’re at the store I can’t remember if we’ve tried one already. It doesn’t stop me from buying a bottle but this might help me remember what I liked about the wine!
I recently started following a blog about a girl close to my age who is going through chemotherapy for breast cancer. I love reading her blog to hear how she’s doing and what her journey is like especially because she has such a positive attitude and outlook despite having breast cancer.
#4 Easter Egg decoration
I found this cute Easter egg decoration that would be simple and cheap to make! This website has some other cute centerpiece ideas but I especially love the one above. I can’t believe Easter is only a couple weeks away!
#3 Michael Symon’s Bacon Wrapped Pork Tenderloin
This week The Chew had an epsiode all about Bacon and featured was Michael Symon’s Bacon Wrapped Pork Tenderloin which Mike and I are excited to try this weekend!
I posted previously about my purchase of an awesome pair of mint jeans and now I’ve found multiple ways to wear them! I already had a few ideas but this gives me a few more I hadn’t thought of already. It also has tips on how to wear red jeans.
#1 Green Eggs and Ham
And finally enjoy some green eggs and ham, or enjoy the Dr. Seuss book because I love Dr. Seuss!
